Mungo, an Italian Spinone, has suffered from idiopathic epilepsy since an early age. After an initially promising response to medication the frequency of his seizures began to increase prompting us to refer him for an MRI brain scan. Thankfully this did not show any sinister changes and he responded well to an increase in his phenobarbitone dosage and the addition of daily propentofyllin.
